Ingenjörskapital ("we", "us") is a student society at the chapter of Industrial Engineering and Management at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit www.ingenjorskapital.se and how we handle it. We have designed this website to collect as little personal data as possible.

What we collect

Browsing this website does not require an account and we do not run analytics or advertising trackers. The website does not set any cookies for ordinary visitors. Two things are still processed when you visit:

Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type when delivering the website. This is standard for any website and is used only to serve pages and keep the service secure. You can read more in Vercel’s own privacy policy.

Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

If you contact us

If you email us at ordforande.ik@iare.nu, we will receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply to you and we do not add you to any mailing list.

If you apply to join us

Applications during recruitment are submitted through a Google Form linked from our Join Us page. The information you enter there (such as your name, email address and study programme) is processed by Google on our behalf and is used only to evaluate applications and contact applicants. We delete application data when the recruitment period is over. Google’s own privacy policy applies to the form itself.

Board members on this website

The Team page shows the names, roles and photographs of current board members, with their consent as elected members of the society.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. Since we store very little, this is usually a short conversation. Contact us at ordforande.ik@iare.nu and we will respond as soon as we can. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).

Changes to this policy

If we change how the website handles personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
